I'd guess it's something to do with Seven & Ichib having spent such a long time being Borg that their biological functions are dependent on certain Borg like things even if a lot of implements have been removed. Janeway, Tuvok and Torres were Borg for only a limited time which'd mean their biological systems still know/capable of doing things by themselves? I've nothing to back that up though - doesn't seem a completely unreasonable hunch though...

I'd guess it's something to do with Seven & Ichib having spent such a long time being Borg that their biological functions are dependent on certain Borg like things even if a lot of implements have been removed. Janeway, Tuvok and Torres were Borg for only a limited time which'd mean their biological systems still know/capable of doing things by themselves? I've nothing to back that up though - doesn't seem a completely unreasonable hunch though...
