Bassano del Grappa med brua over Brenta som vart bygt i 1569
Bassano del Grappa er ein by og ein kommune i provinsen Vicenza i Veneto-regionen i Italia. Kommunen har nær 44 000 ibuarar og dekker eit areal på 46,8 km². Byen ligg 129 meter over havet. Nokre av dei kringliggjande landsbyane er i dag omfatta av byveksten i Bassano, så bybefolkninga i området er større enn i sjølve Bassano.
Målaren Jacopo Bassano vart fødd, arbeidde og døydde i Bassano og byen tok namnet sitt etter han. I 1928 kom Grappa i tillegg til Bassano, til minne om dei mange tusen soldatane som under fyrste verdskrigen fall på det nærliggande fjellet Grappa. Bassano Del Grappa er mellom anna kjent for at brennevinet grappa vart funne opp i byen.
Byen vaks truleg fram i det andre hundreåret før Kristi fødsel.
