Avernakø er ei øy i Det sørfynske øyhav. Øya har eit areal på 6 km² og er ein del av Faaborg-Midtfyn kommune. Øya er langstrakt og forholdsvis kupert med 110 innbyggjarar (2006).
Ein kan nå øya med ferje frå Faaborg og Lyø.
Opphavleg var Avernakø to forskjellige øyar, Korshavn og Avernak. I 1937 vart dei to øyane knytte saman av demninga Drejet.
Hovudnæringane på øya er jordbruk og turisme. Born på øya går på skyle på naboøya Lyø.
