Tredelinga av ein vinkel er eit av dei klassiske greske konstruksjonsproblema, som går ut på at ein skal dele ein gjeven vinkel i tre like store delar ved hjelp av passar og linjal. Dette kan ein gjere for nokre spesielle vinklar, som til dømes 45°, men i det generelle tilfellet er dette bevist å vere umogeleg.
Algebraisk kan problemet uttrykkast slik at når talet a = cos α er kjend, skal x = cos α/3 konstruerast; det vil sei at ein skal konstruere rota av ei tredjegradslikning 4x3 – 3x –a = 0. Det finst fleire særs nøyaktige tilnærmingskonstruksjonar.
