Theodore Nicholas Gill (21. mars 1837–25. september 1914) var ein fiskeforskar frå New York i USA. Gill var professor i zoologi ved George Washington University i Washington, D.C.
Theodore Gill gav ut meir enn 500 vitskaplege artiklar, dei fleste innan iktyologi, men frå 1870-åra studerte han også andre dyretypar. Han var akta som taksonom og klassifiserte særleg familiar og ordenar.
Gill skildra mellom anna familiane epåletthaiar (Hemiscyllidae) i 1862, sabeltannkattar (Machairodontinae), furespissmus (Solenodontidae) og manatar Trichechidae i 1872 og tangsprellfamilien (Pholidae) i 1893; slekta hyse (Melanogrammus) i 1862; og artane gulhala kirurgfisk (Prionurus punctatus) i 1862, kortnasa ål (Simenchelys parasitica) i 1879, Lucas-barracuda (Sphyraena lucasana) i 1863.
