RS 108 «Kaptein Skaugen» er ei redningsskøyte som vart bygd for Redningsselskapet i 1991. Ho Var ei gåve frå reiarlaget I.M. Skaugen i høve reiarlaget sit 75-års jubileum, og Redningsselskapet sit 100-års jubileum. Byggesummen var 14, 3 millionar kroner.
Konstruksjonen av «Kaptein Skaugen» stod Tor Stokke i Amble & Stokke AS i Kristiansand for. Ho vart bygd hjå Båtservice Industries AS, Mandal.
Namnet fekk «Kaptein Skaugen» etter Isak Martinius Skaugen, seglskutekaptein og skipar av selskapet som gav redningsskøyta.
