I read a short story in middle school I've been thinking about recently but I can't remember it's name. I totally know the story but I have no idea what it was called.

A man was alone taking care of a station on the moon. Every day he would report back to earth.

Some kind of monster shows up on the moon and starts tearing the station apart and the man has to do his best to get rid of it.

There's a twist in the story but I won't spoil it in case anyone else finds it.

I always found the story really interesting and I'd love to be able to reread it.
