Wangen an der Aare er ein by og ein kommune i distriktet Oberaargau i kantonen Bern i Sveits. Kommunen har 2 048 innbyggjarar (2010) og eit areal på 6,8 km². Kommunesenteret ligg 423 meter over havet.
Den vesle byen ligg mellom Olten og Solothurn i landlege omgjevnader ved Aare, ei stor elv i det vestlege sentrale låglandet i Sveits. Ei gammal trebru kryssar Aare her. Wangen an der Aare var det administrative senteret for det tidlegare distriktet med same namn.
