Bulweria er ei biologisk slekt av sjøfuglar i stormfuglfamilien Procellariidae. Slekta har namn etter den engelske naturhistorikaren James Bulwer. Slekta har berre to nolevande artar, spisshalepetrell og arabarpetrell. Ein tredje art, Bulweria bifax, døydde ut tidleg på 1500-talet; han er kjent frå skjelettrestar.
Bulweria-petrellane har lenge vore vurdert som nært relatert til Pterodroma eller «eigentlege petrellar», men nyare studiar med DNA-analysar har vist at Bulweria i staden er nærast i slekt med lirer i slekta Puffinus og spesielt til Procellaria-petrellar.[1]
