Vidar Henning Underseth (fødd 13. februar 1958) er ein norsk spelemann og folkedansar frå Solund i Sogn og Fjordane. Underseth spelar fele og hardingfele, og har vunne Landskappleiken i pardans i 1989, 1991 og 1994. Alle tre gongane hadde han Hilde Bjørkum som dansepartnar.[1] I 1989 mottok Underseth og Bjørkum kongepokal i dans på landskappleiken.
Vidar Underseth er oppvaksen i Tangenes i Solund i Ytre Sogn, og tok til å spele fele då han var 15-16 år gamal. Seinare gjekk han i lære hjå jølstringen Sigmund Eikås.[1] Underseth er busett i Ålesund, og arbeider 50 % som hardingfelelærar i Ålesund kommune, og 50 % i Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune si fylkesmusikarordning.[2] I 2006 ga han ut Mine første feleslåttar, eit læreverk på DVD for fele og hardingfele.[3]
Underseth er musikalsk leiar i hardingfelegruppa i spelemannslaget UL Ivar Aasen i Ålesund.
