Japanmakak-rhadinovirus (JMRV) er eit rhadinovirus som nyttar japanmakaken som vert. Det vart funne i arrvev hjå japanmakakar med den demyeliniserande sjukdomen japanmakakencefalomyelitt, ein sjukdom som kan minna om menneskesjukdomen multippel sklerose.[1]
Japanmakak-rhadinovirus er nært i slekt med rhesusape-rhadinovirus. Mellom dei kjende menneskevirusa er det nærast i slekt med Kaposi-sarkom-assosiert herpesvirus.[1]
Genomet til japanmakak-rhadinovirus kodar for fleire mikro-RNA, der fleire er homologe til mikro-RNA frå Kaposi-sarkom-assosiert herpesvirus og rhesusape-rhadinovirus.[2]
