Red Deer er ein by i den canadiske provinsen Alberta, som ligg omtrent midt mellom Calgary og Edmonton. Byen har 90 564 innbyggjarar (2011), og har hatt ein auke på over 20 % i perioden 2005-2011.[1] Dette gjer byen til den tredje største i Alberta. etter Calgary og Edmonton.
Næringsvegar er både landbruk og oljeindustri, og byen er eit senter for omsetnad av både olje og landbruksvarar.
Byen har namn etter elva Red Deer, som er ei omsetjing av cree- namnet «waskasoo» som tyder 'elge-elva'.
