Clowesbreen er ein isbre som er 3,5 km brei, og som flyt aust og ut i Masonfjorden, på austkysten av Palmer Land. Han vart oppdaga og fotografert frå lufta i desember 1940 av U.S. Antarctic Service. I 1947 vart han fotografert frå lufta av Ronne antarktiske forskingsekspedisjon under Finn Rønne, medan Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) kartla han frå bakken. Han vart namngjeven av FIDS etter Archibald J. Clowes, ein engelsk oseanograf i Discovery Committee i 1924–46.[1]
