Cape Cornely er eit nes på kysten av Victoria Land 3 nautiske mil nord for Cape Day. Neset er markert av nakne klipper og ligg ved sørsida av enden av Mawsonbreen. Det vart kartlagd av US Geological Survey frå landmålingar og frå flyfoto teken av U.S Navy 1957–61 og vart namngjeve av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Joseph R. Cornely i U.S. Navy som var radiomann for dei overvintrande mannskapa ved Little America V, Amundsen-Scott-stasjonen og McMurdo Station i 1958, 1961 og 1963.[1]
