Lågtangen er ein 200 meter lang tange som stikk ut frå iskysten i Mac. Robertson Land like vest for Holmevika. Han vart kartlagt av norske kartografar frå flyfoto tekne under Thorshavn-ekspedisjonane i 1936–37 og namngjeven av dei. Det omsette namnet Low Tongue er tilrådd av Australian Antarctic Names and Medals Committee (ANCA) som det godkjende namnet.
