Gulbrandsen Lake er ein innsjø som er 800 meter lang og som ligg nord for Neumayerbreen på Sør-Georgia. Han vart kartlagt og namngjeven «White City» av den britiske ekspedisjonen under Ernest Shackleton i 1921–22, men dette namnet vart ikkje rekna som høvande og har aldri vore brukt lokalt. Gulbrandsen Lake vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i 1957 etter Gunnar Gulbrandsen, ein mønstermakar i Compañía Argentina de Pesca-stasjonen i Grytviken i 1927–30. Han var snikkar ved Strømnes i 1945–46 og snikkar og dokkforman ved South Georgia Whaling Company-stasjonen Leith Harbour i fleire år frå 1946.[1]
