Tamworth er ein by og eit administrativt distrikt i Staffordshire i England. Han ligg omkring 27 km nordaust for Birmingham. Namnet kjem frå elva Tame, som renn gjennom byen; det gjer òg elva Anker.
I byen finn ein dei historiske bygningane Tamworth Castle og Moat House, samt Snowdome som er den første innandørs skibakken med ekte snø i Vest-Europa og fornøyelsesparken Drayton Manor Theme Park.
Dei viktigaste industriane er logistikk, ingeniørverksemd og tegl-, flis- og papirproduksjon. Bilprodusenten Reliant hadde hovudkvarteret sitt i Tamworth inntil selskapet flytta i 2001.
