Keynsham er ein by i grevskapet Somerset i England. Han har kring 15 500 innbyggjarar og ligg mellom Bristol og Bath i Sørvest-England. Han vart oppført i Domesday Book som Cainesham, som ein trur tyder «heimen til St. Keyne».
Området kring byen har vore busett sidan førhistorisk tid og her finst òg spreidd restar etter romarane. Han vart ein marknadsby i mellomalderen etter at Keynsham Abbey vart grunnlagd kring 1170. Han ligg ved staden der elvane Chew og Avon renn saman og har vore råka av kraftige flaumar fleire gonger. Chew Valley Lake vart derfor skapt for å kontrollere vasstanden i elva. Den store flaumen i 1968 sette store delar av byen under vatn.
