honestly when I was reading this book I always felt like I was starting after book one it was confusing. but its always been on my mind so I want to figure it out and clear up the confusion and reread it.

I know the main character is a girl. but there is a side char a dude. and the dude was supposed to be the mc's mom's son. but for some reason things got changed and wasn't? I don't remember a whole lot about this book. but I know at the end some kind of dimensional creature absorbes a dragon and a unicorn. and then the side dude takes the mc and some other people to another dimension until it is safe? im sorry im sure none of this is very helpful. but I hope yall can figure it out.
