Lås er ei innretning som kan brukast til å stengja eller hindra bruk av opningar som portar, dører eller vindauge, bruksgjenstandar som fartøy og våpen eller ilåt som skuffer, skåp, skrin og liknande. Ein lås verker som regel ved at ein bolt hindrar den stengde tingen frå å opna seg eller verka. Mange låsar kan lukkast og opnast med nøkkel, eller dei kan ganske enkelt ha ein mekanisk opnings- og lukkingsmekanisme. Ein kan også opna låsar ved hjelp av kodar, elektroniske adgangskort, fingeravtrykk og anna.
