Chapati (urdu چپاتی hindi चपाती capātī), òg kalla roti, er eit indisk flatvore, mjukt og lefseliknande brød av kveite som hovudsakleg blir bruka til å plukke opp og eta munnfullar av linse- og grønsaksrettar med.
Chapatideig blir vanlegvis laga av sammale kveitemjøl frå durumkveite, vatn og salt, men ein kan òg byte ut noko av mjølet med hirse- eller maismjøl. Ein kjevlar ut deigen til runde leivar av om lag 12 cm diameter og steikjer dei på båe sidene på usmurd takke (bakstehelle) eller steikjepanne ved høg varme. Deretter held ein kvar chapati ein augneblink (om lag eit halvt sekund) inn i ein open flamme, slik at chapatien blæs seg opp med damp som ein ballong. Det er relativt vanleg å pensle dei ferdige chapatiane med ghee (klåra smør).
