Strukturen til mikrotubuli
Mikrotubuli (eintal mikrotubulus) er røyrforma 24 nanometer tjukke fibrar bygde opp av par av proteina α- og β-tubulin.[1][2] Dei spelar ei nykelrolle i selleskjelettet til eukaryotar og dannar ein del av spindelen som skil kromosom frå kvarandre under selledeling.[2][3]
Mikrotubuli finst i hovudsak i eukaryotar, men er òg funne i nokre bakteriar.[4]
