Chris Thomas (fødd 13. januar 1947) er ein engelsk plateprodusent som har arbeidd mykje med The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, Roxy Music, Badfinger, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Pulp og The Pretenders. Han produserte òg gjennombrotsalbuma til The Sex Pistols og INXS.

Thomas starta karrieren sin som assistent ved AIR Studios, eigd av Beatles-produsent George Martin, og deltok på innspelinga av The Beatles i 1968. Det første albumet han produserte aleine var The Climax Chicago Blues Band av Climax Blues Band same året.

Procol Harum vart det første bandet Thomas arbeidde fast med, og sidan Roxy Music.

I 1973 miksa Thomas Pink Floyd-albumet The Dark Side of the Moon. I 1994 hjelpte han Gilmour med å mikse Pink Floyd-albumet The Division Bell (1994) og var òg medprodusent i lag med Gilmour på soloalbumet hans On an Island (2006).

Thomas produsert tre album for Badfinger på midten av 1970-åra og i 1976 vart han beden av Malcolm McLaren om å produsere debutsingelen til Sex Pistols, «Anarchy in the UK».

I 1985 var Thomas medverkande til gjennombrotet til det australske bandet INXS og han hjelpte same tiåret Chrissie Hynde og produserte The Pretenders sitt første album. I 1990-åra produserte han Pulp-albumet Different Class, som han reknar som eit av dei beste albuma han produserte.
